PO-MO celebrates the Stonemason, taking inspiration from small carved symbols found among the stone walls of the mysterious Vienna Cathedral. The Stonemasons created complex templates that allowed them to create a unique personal mark to help distinguish one masons work from another, these marks were called Mutterfiguren.

The ‘Mutterfiguren’ symbols are created from the Steinmetz-Grund, a very secret geometric law, on which the stonemasons constructed and designed buildings. The Steinmertz-Grund, roughly meaning ‘stone cutter’–‘logic’ dates back to the twelfth century. The graphics used among the Steinmertz-Grund look sweet as on these most Post-Modern tees.
