Walter Hansen is a Wellington-based designer with an obsession for typography, graphic shapes and solid colour. A graphic designer by day and a graphic designer by night, he likens himself to Clark Kent without the superpowers. He takes inspiration from New Zealand flora and fauna, scientific trivia and humour. Printing methods and materials are as important as the design itself – each is carefully considered to create visually rich works of artisanal quality.
