The Story
White Fungus is an ecclectic mix of politics, history, witty creative writing, culture, and design. This is what an art-zine is meant to look, and feel, like. Initially appearing as photocopied one-off handout, White Fungus has grown to include international and local contributors. The style is anarchic, bright, and crisp, and the content is as unpredictable
as it is captivating.
Brothers Ron and Mark Hanson collaborate with a collective of Wellingtonian artists, writers and designers to bring White Fungus to life and create its distinct surrealist flavour. It is the focus and heart of the short films, music, art installations and inter-media events that this talented group of people bring to Wellington.
