The Story
The Geek Booteek or "Geek Freeks" have been charging since 2005 creating one-off original plush toys, pillows and more, using variant fabrics and facial expressions.
Designer/Animator/Artist/Creator Alex Leighton (Xander) is in charge of character development. Operating a full time animation studio, painting for exhibitions and designing the Geek Freeks keeps him busy. Partner in crime, established tattoo artist and epic sewer Karla Hansen brings the Geeks to life.
The toys are passionately made in New Zealand.
