Bio/Company History:

F3 Design is a new design business that uses the collective talents of four family members: the Wright-Stow’s.

Pippin - son - achieved a post-graduate diploma in Print and Sculpture. Inspired by working with an architect, he has combined his artistic vision and practical know-how into a unique career. Having been self-employed for a number of years, he has been working on architectural and design projects in addition to sculpture, printmaking and painting.

Ella - daughter - after a couple of years studying sculpture at Canterbury School of Fine Arts, she was attracted to live in the vibrant and creative city of Melbourne. Ella brings with her a fresh take on great design and a love of the finer details of being in business.

Stuart and Angela - ma and pa - have spent many years nurturing the artists and designers they represent at their Little River Gallery. The success of the business lies in the innate creativity and ingenuity that they apply to all aspects of their life. This includes their own product designs that started 30 years ago with a series of wooden toys, which are to this day used and well loved.

F3 Design - the baby - conceived from the exciting visions that arise from an artistic family, F3 Design is the natural amalgamation of the family talents. It becomes a collective umbrella for the good ideas that regularly arise from discussions around the Wright-Stow dinner table. By joining forces over the last few months, the Wright-Stows have refined existing family products and started prototypes for new designs, many of which are on the brink of distribution.

F3 Design - the products - F3 Design give a refreshingly different take to everyday objects. The products evoke a playful, sophisticated aesthetic that is sealed by quality production that ensues longevity. A product is identified as part of the F3 family when it is imbued in the three F’s: fun, form and function.

What drives you?

We exist to create an exciting business, a playful stage and forum from which our collective skills and ideas can be developed, discussed, and exhibited.

What inspires you?

Day to day living.

What are you doing when you aren't doing this?
Running other businesses, raising children, being parents, enjoying life as best we can.
