Here are some FAQs to help make using endemicworld.com easier.
Ordering and Shopping Information
How do I buy things from endemicworld.com?
It’s really simple.
1 Browse through endemicworld.com, viewing products and reading the descriptions and profiles to help you make your decision.
2 From the product page make any required selections like size and quantity. When you are satisfied click the big orange button “Add to Shopping Bag”
3 Continue shopping and when you have finished click on “Shopping Bag” top right of your screen to double check your order and start the checkout process:
- Verify your order
- Enter Shipping Information
- Enter Billing Information (during this stage your shipping costs are calculated)
- Place your order (during this stage you double check all details are correct before the transaction is finalised and your credit card is debited)
You will receive a confirmation email of your order soon after making a purchase.
At any stage before you pay for your order, you can go back to make changes to your order.
Is the site secure?
Yes, endemicworld.com uses stringently tested technologies to ensure the security of the information transmitted via our wesite and maintained in our posession.
When you enter your credit card details at the Payment Details Step you will see alock icon appear in the status bar of your browser. This indicates that the data that is submitted is encrypted while in transit, and therefore cannot be viewed y anyone other than us.
In addition, when we receive that data, it is stored on a seperate location to the web server so that it can only be accessed by us.
Endemicworld.com sits on secure servers using SSL encryption. We do not keep credit card details after a purchases have been made.
How can I pay for my order?
You can pay for your order by Credit Card, or direct bank transfer if you are a New Zealand customer.
We accept Visa and MasterCard.
Debit Cards are accepted but only if they are backed by Visa or MasterCard.
Our website features an SSL secure connection during the transaction, keeping your information secure and private. Please note that the charge on your statement will appear as "endemicworld.com" and will be in New Zealand Dollars ($NZD).
You can pay for your order by going through the simple four step checkout process. Step 3 is Billing Information where you enter your payment details.
You will be informed during the checkout process how to make a direct bank transfer. We do not ship orders until funds have cleared. We do not recommend that you use direct bank transfer if you do not bank in New Zealand.
How can I make changes to my order?
Once an order is placed you cannot make changes to the order. The checkout is set out in a way that you double check and triple check your information.
We believe strongly in having a good time while running endemicworld.com. So that we get to enjoy it as much as you and so other customers can too, we invite you to send us photos of you unwrapping your goods or wearing/using your goods in some creative way. We thought let's show the real deal, real photos of real customers really happy. This will show honest proof of our effort in customer satisfaction and allow everyone to have some fun and be creative in the process.
So when you buy something from endemicworld.com, start thinking about how you are going to take a fresh, creative and playful photo to show off to the other endemic shoppers. Check out what has been submitted so far by clicking 'own it' in the banner, or in the community navigation.
If you impress us with your creativity and photography style we may post it on the own it page.
How can i send feedback or comments?
Can I stop by your warhouse and by directly from endemicworld.com?

Can I place an order on line and pick it up directly from your warehouse?
Not currently, but maybe in the future.
I emailed endemicworld.com several times and haven't received a response. Why won't someone email me?
Check your spam/junk folder to see if our reply email was automatically marked as spam/junk by your email program. If it did, make sure you change the settings for next time.
We answer emails within three business days. It is unusual for us not to reply within this timeframe. If it has been longer than three days and you are sure you are using the correct email address then please re-send your email to info@endemicworld.com or call us on +64 9 446 0796.
How does the currency converter work?
This is a simple tool for you to be able to view prices in your currency. It is only an estimate based on EX exchange rates. Exchange rates change every day and vary between different banks so we cannot provide exact conversions. By selecting your currency in the drop down menu on the right, or within a product page, all prices in the shop will change. You can change currencies anytime. All billing is in New Zealand Dollars.
What is the network?

How much will shipping cost me?
All orders within New Zealand are $6. It is free for orders that are over $100.
(NB: A4 track and trace from your local post shop is $7.60)
In the checkout process you will be informed of your shipping costs before you confirm payment.
What shipping options do you offer?
All New Zealand orders are sent using Track and Trace from Courier Post. Every order includes free tracking, and is couriered to your door. We can ship to residential, rural, business or PO Box addresses.
You can leave us special delivery instructions in the checkout process.
All international orders are shipped using New Zealand Post Air Mail. This means as an endemicworld.com customer you get the security, efficiency and quality handling of New Zealand Post services.
Can I track my order?
We currently offer tracking for all orders within New Zealand. After your order confirmation you will be given a tracking number in a seperate email. Visit courier post and enter your tracking number to find out your order status.
We do not have a tracking service for international orders.
I placed an order, but I don't have my tracking number. How do I get it?
Drop us an email with what you can remember:
- Name of person who made the order
- Shipping address
- Order content
- Order date
- Order number
- Emial address
When we find your order in our database, we will reply with a status report and order and tracking number.
My tracking number isn’t working! Why?
It can take a little while for a tracking number to become live. Just check back in an hour or so.
I haven't received my order yet?
Check the time frames set out below and if it is now past this time then please contact us.
The target delivery days are based on historical performance to major cities around the world. You can expect that items sent to a particular zone will usually arrive at their destination within the time frame specified. Delivery to areas outside major cities, or where your item is held in customs, may take longer.

Why was my order charged a customs fee when it was delivered?
This is a fee charged by your country not by endemic. We have no control over what happens at your country’s border.
Product and Sizing Information
How are t-shirt sizing dimensions measured?
Length is measured from the back of a garment and is the distance between the neck seam (or top) and the bottom of the t-shirt
Chest is measured from the back of the garment and is the distance from armpit to armpit.
All measurements are approximate and in centimetres (cm)
Every product page has dimensions below the main image in the 'more about...' section.

Here's a tip.
A good way to check your size is to measure up a couple of your favourite t-shirts. This will help you make an accurate choice. You will find that you will be able to fit a certain range e.g. length between 69cm - 73cm and any chest between 48cm – 51cm. Lay some of your t-shirts on top of each other and you will see different sizes, measure the biggest and smallest to find out your range.

Why are you out of stock of a particular item?
We stock limited quantities of everything because at endemicworld.com we focus on what is fresh and we want to experience and support continuous creativity. Some of the products we offer are made in limited editions. It keeps everything ‘endemic’, including you.
If your choice is not available contact us and we will do our best to fulfil your order.
Returns
What is your policy on returns?
We will accept returns in the following circumstances:
- Goods are faulty or defective
- We sent you the wrong order
- The size you choose does not fit
If you are going to make a return then please contact us immediately by email with “return” in the subject line so we can:
- replace the goods if they are in stock
or;
- replace the order with comparable goods
or;
- refund the total amount on return of the goods.
When returning the goods you must provide proof of purchase and an explanation (in English) as to why you are returning the goods and what remedy you are seeking.
Please fill in and include the returns slip with your goods.
We strongly suggest you courier your goods back to us instead of standard post as this will reduce the risk of your items being lost or damaged in transit. We cannot take responsibility of a return if it goes missing or is damaged.
We regret endemicworld.com is not able to accept returns of goods if you decide you no longer want them or would like a different version of the same good. So please choose carefully. We provide lengthy descriptions and good photos so you can choose easily and be happy with your purchase.
Please be aware that colour accuracy of products will differ based on your monitor and operating system and any other settings.
Do I have to pay to ship a return back to you?
Yes you have to pay for a return, but we pay to ship the replacement goods to you.
I sent a return, but haven't heard anything back yet!
Returns can take one to two weeks to process. Check to see if we have sent you an email as we may be waiting for a reply. If you are concerned that your returned item has not reached us then please contact us.
Supplying or Working for endemicworld.com
Why are you out of stock of a particular item?
We live on the constant flow of the fresh, creative products we sell and the relationships we have with the creators behind them. We are always keen to see what you and your friends are doing, so if you want your work to be considered then do this:
- Send us an email with your story and photos of what you are creating.
- Send photos in jpeg format no larger than 200KB each.
or
- Call us and tell us your story. Fridays are a good time to call. Otherwise just leave a message. We will look at your work and if we want to know more we will make contact.
Can I work for endemicworld.com?
That depends! Just drop us an email. We are open to creative business and collaborations. We have always got a project of some sort on the go and like to get all sorts of people involved. Any specific jobs will be posted in our newsletter and/or blog or within our Information pages.

Endemicworld.com is located in Auckland, New Zealand. Here is a picture of our headquarters in the legendary Melrose House.
Is there an endemicworld.com store?
No, we are a pure play online store. It encourages you to get nosey about products and learn more about the story behind them. You get to shop in the comfort of your home with your music cranking anytime of day or night (even when you're at work).
And of course it means we can work in our board shorts having had a swim on the way to work, have our dogs, children, nephews, cousins, grandmas, brothers, mums, cats, neighbours, friends or anyone drop in for a cup of tea, never wear a suit on a really stinking hot day, wear an oversized one piece snowboard getup on a really cold day, play darts, draw and put up crazy stuff all over the walls.
